Your Charity

The gift of financial charity is a necessity; one that aids in supporting the University, the SoCal Scholarship Fund, and ensuring that our Southern California presence remains strong and vibrant through various workshops and activities that supports the community at large. Whether this financial charity comes directly from you or through your efforts, it is an essential component to SoCal operations.

What Opportunities Are Currently Available?

Your SoCal Chapter has a wide range of needs that exist to support this Chapter, the Association at large, and the University. Here are a few of those opportunities listed below:

College Recruitment

• Going to College Workshop

• Mentorship (Share your college and professional experiences with our youths)

• Recruitment of High School Students for the University

Fundraising Committee

• Fundraising provides scholarship monies to FAMU-bound SoCal students and supports our Chapter

Membership Committee

• New Member Acquisition

• Retention of Existing Members

PR-Committee

• Help to get the word out about us and what we are doing

Scholarship Committee

• Support the SoCal scholarships by policy revisions, applicant screen, etc.

Special Events Committee

• Help to bring SoCal Rattlers together with an array of events

Website Development

• Intermediate or expert, support from simple web updates to overall site rebuilds
