OverviewEach year, the FAMU NAA Los Angeles Chapter / Southern California awards scholarships to deserving FAMU-bound California students. During the 2006-scholarship-year, the SoCal awarded $10,500 to seventeen (17) students. Amidst a more rigorous criterion for the 2007-scholarship-year, the lower- and upper-limit scholarship award amounts increased by 100% and 50% respectively, resulting in $10,250 awarded to twelve (12) students.
