Thousands of prospective students filled LA Convention Center for the annual Black College Expo. Local Alumni volunteered to inform students of  all the wonderful things about FAMU.

 Be Out Day LA, a cultural gathering of fun, games and music.  The purpose of this event is to connect rattlers in SoCal, bring HBCU awareness to the community, and to raise scholarship funds for incoming and current students at FAMU from the SoCal area.

Recognizing outstanding leaders in the African American community with the Black History Luncheon hosted by Comedian Roy Wood Jr.

Current and incoming FAMU students mingle and get acquainted at the annual picnic and recognizing the 2011 scholarship recipients.

Alums enjoyed an afternoon of wine tasting and education at the Wilson Creek Winery. We later dined at the Pechanga Casino where we hit it big at the casino!
